Energy Programs & Rebates

Mason County PUD No 1 offers a rebate toward your power bill for the purchase of Energy Star labeled clothes washers, refrigerators and freezers.  Rebates also available for qualifying compact fluorescent light bulbs, hot water heaters, new showerhead replacement . Modified energy factor of 2.46+ $70.00
Household must have electric hot water heater to qualify

EF (Energy Factor) .93 for 50 to 75 gallon $25.00
EF .91 for over 80 gallon and above $45.00
   
CFL (Compact Florescent Bulbs) 5 watts or higher $2.50
capped at actual cost (limit 4 per household)

2.0 gpm or less

Mason County PUD #1 also has incentives available for New Energy Star Site-Built Homes, New Energy Star Manufactured Homes, heat pump upgrades, duct sealing , ductless heat pumps (pre-approved )and insulation. Mason County PUD #1 Commercial Customers:
Mason County PUD #1 is offering a lighting program for new and existing construction in commercial buildings. If your building qualifies for the program our representative will perform an audit and discuss the program with you. We will explain how you can save on energy through installing energy efficient lighting.
